Gobeyond Partners take on a new charity partner for 2022

We achieved a huge success in 2021, surpassing our £30k donation target for charity partner, Guide Dogs. This year, we are confident we will do the same and are proud to announce our partner for 2022 – Brain Tumour Research.
We are excited to see where this new fundraising journey will take us, and we hope you will join us along the way.
As our partnership with Guide Dogs ended, we asked colleagues to nominate charities we could collaborate with this year. With 10 charities to choose from, Brain Tumour Research came out on top.
With one colleague’s family member living with a brain tumour, this cause is close to our hearts, and as a leading national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours, we couldn’t have picked a better partner.
Throughout 2022, we will make it our mission to raise funds to support this critical research. The charity has several organised events that we are excited to get stuck into, starting with the 10,000 steps challenge in February, where participants must walk at least this number of steps each day.
There are many events pencilled in throughout the year that will enable us to fundraise to achieve our donation target of 5 days of research funding (£13,700).
“Gobeyond Partners is delighted to partner with Brain Tumour Research in 2022 to raise funds for critical research and help find a cure for this underfunded and indiscriminate cancer.”
Richard Davies, Principal Consultant, Gobeyond Partners
“We’re so grateful to Gobeyond for choosing Brain Tumour Research as their Charity Partner for 2022. We are looking forward to working with everyone in the organisation, to help fundraise and raise awareness of this deadly disease. With brain tumours killing more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, and yet historically, only 1% of the national cancer research spend being allocated, partnerships like this are key to finding a cure.”
Mel Tiley, Community Development Manager, Brain Tumour Research
We’re excited to start the New Year with this goal, and look forward to making a difference through fundraising. The commitment and dedication from our colleagues is incredible, and we couldn’t ask for a better team to help us support this cause.
