Business school visits: recruiting for the future

Please note this article was published before OEE Consulting and gobeyond joined forces to become Gobeyond Partners.
As part of our ongoing timetable of OEE Consulting business school visits, we recently enjoyed the opportunity to discuss careers in consulting with MBA students from both Imperial College Business School and Cass Business School. The event was hosted by Imperial College, a long-standing client of OEE Consulting.
Students from both business schools were invited to a Q&A and networking evening with members of the OEE Consulting team. Mark Palmer, Managing Partner, and Andy Smith, Operations Manager, were joined by Beulah Selvaraj, Imperial alumnus, and Cornelis Fru Ndi, Cass alumnus, both now Senior Consultants at the firm.
Mark Palmer, said “These events are great. They give us an opportunity to meet bright, enthusiastic, potential candidates, and discover what is important to them. It also gives students the opportunity to find out what life is really like at a management consulting firm.”
Mark Davies, Employer Relations Manager at Imperial College continued, “We were delighted to partner with OEE Consulting on their ‘boardroom chat’ careers event. It is clear they take recruiting top talent very seriously. We received excellent feedback from attendees, who welcomed the ‘high touch’ and honest interaction with a potential employer. We know that such an approach is important not only to attract the right applications, but also to maximise the chances of our highest calibre MBAs choosing OEE Consulting.”
This was reinforced by an Imperial College student’s email after the event, “Just wanted to say that the OEE recruitment talk tonight was absolutely amazing, with both Mark and Andy being super honest and effective communicators.”
