Gobeyond Partners are pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Houston as Client Partner for the Healthcare Sector.

Tom brings over 20 years of consulting and transformation leadership experience, and since 2010 has exclusively supported the NHS and Healthcare organisations in board and senior team roles.

He has driven improvements across more than 50 NHS organisations, including national and regional leadership of key NHS and Department of Health policy and programmes and supporting the development of 7 new Integrated care Systems (ICSs). He has also successfully delivered workforce and service strategy and planning for more than 30 acute, mental health and social care providers.

Commenting on his new role, Tom Houston said, "I'm excited to combine my experience of strengthening health services across the UK, with Gobeyond Partners’ proven expertise and global track record in transforming staff and patient experiences for the better.

I’m delighted to now be part of such a knowledgeable, values-driven and impressive team and am looking forward to making a real difference in partnership with our colleagues in health and care.”

Adopting a collaborative and engagement-based approach, Tom’s primary focus is on simplifying the complex challenges facing clinical teams and services to help drive real outcomes for patients and service users.

Mark Palmer, Chief Executive Officer of Gobeyond Partners commented, “I’m absolutely delighted to welcome Tom to the Gobeyond Partner’s team, where he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from across the Healthcare sector. In this new role Tom will be responsible for leading Gobeyond Partners’ Healthcare support offer, bringing strategic planning and on-the-ground delivery to the biggest Healthcare challenges of today. This includes a focus on forward thinking workforce planning, staff wellbeing and retention initiatives, integration and collaborations between organisations and improving patient pathways and experiences.
