Gobeyond Partners were delighted to take part in Wear a Hat Day in aid of our charity partner, Brain Tumour Research. Although the initiative was scheduled for the 25th of March, we decided to have our day a week earlier as everyone was in the office for our Q1 meeting.

We’re supporting Brain Tumour Research as they look to create a network of experts in sustainable research within dedicated centres of excellence, alongside influencing the Government and larger charities to invest more nationally.

Thousands of people across the UK took part and donned hats of all shapes and sizes to raise thousands of pounds to help fund vital work to find a cure for brain tumours. Brain Tumour Research thanked everyone who got involved in Wear a Hat Day.

Melanie Tiley, Community Development Manager, Brain Tumour Research said:

“We take our hats off to everyone at Gobeyond Partners for taking part in the day, having fun and showing great enthusiasm and dedication to our cause”.

More than 50 colleagues, both at home and in the office, took part and managed to raise £365, a great achievement and almost £100 more than our original goal-  all helping towards our end-of-year-goal of £13,700.

Gobeyond Partners charity lead and Principal Consultant, Richard Davies commented:

“It was great to see so many colleagues face-to-face at our Q1 meeting and to be able to welcome Melanie Tiley from Brain Tumour Research along to deliver an excellent overview of their organisation. We were delighted to raise a further £365 on the day – increasing the total raised to date to £3598, 26% of our 2022 target.”
