F1 learning

The combination of Gobeyond Partners’ engaging and experiential learning, the business lessons drawn from extensive F1® research and the immersive high pressure of The Pit Stop Challenge create a learning experience like no other.

High performance learning experiences

A wide range of leadership, teamwork and change management days, including bespoke business wide training programmes, can be built around the pit stops – which take place using a real Formula 1® car.

Learning outcomes

Formula 1® motor racing is one of the most high performance environments in the world. The gap between winning a race – or even a championship – can be a matter of seconds. The difference between first place and the first loser can result from a failure to work as a team, a lapse in judgement or a split-second delay in decision making.

This kind of environment requires a different style of working which encourages and rewards clear communication, a ‘no blame’ culture, and a desire to constantly improve.

In today’s ever-changing business environment, the potential rewards from this learning are not only clear, they are demonstrable; from multi-million-pound savings to productivity gains and dramatic decreases in critical errors.

Typical themes for learning experiences include building and maintaining high performing teams, accepting and managing change, understanding leadership and individual behaviour, developing a growth mindset, and implementing a continuous improvement culture.
