Gobeyond Partners has received a Highly Commended Award for Performance Improvement in the Private sector with Sunbelt Rentals at at this year’s Management Consultancies Association (MCA) Awards.

With over 20 years of experience in the customer journey and consulting space, Gobeyond Partners were also shortlisted for a People Award in collaboration with HSBC and Innovation Consultant of the Year for Atif Rashid.

The MCA, the representative body for the UK consulting sector, has been at the heart of the industry for over 60 years with the MCA Awards demonstrating the true value of consulting to both the private and public sector and the impact consulting has on our society.

The prestigious MCA Awards ceremony was held on Monday 1st November in Central London, with Mark Palmer, Gobeyond Partners CEO explaining:

Gobeyond Partners work with Sunbelt Rentals began in April 2020 when the UK's leading supplier of plant, tools and specialist equipment hire for the construction, events and infrastructure markets brought them in as a trusted partner to support with a model and skills transfer to create a continuous improvement mind-set. Delivering tangible results to the business, the programme, which aligned ways of working across 200 depots and delivered efficiencies and cost savings, saw a sense of pride brought to the workplace, which built internal momentum for positive changes to be delivered by Sunbelt’s own colleagues.

The People Award with HSBC shortlising recognises Gobeyond Partners impact on a transformation programme which delivered change on a phenomenal scale. The project, supporting 25,000 people across 5 continents and 35 countries, has created a high-water mark for future change programmes. Setting an expectation that high levels of engagement, people development and rapid benefit delivery can all be delivered, the project used consistent and standardised language and ways of working across all locations. Improving productivity by 15-20%, it supported knowledge sharing and increased people engagement whilst mitigating the impact of social isolation created by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Today, Gobeyond Partners has over 250 people delivering major projects across 30 countries. With offices in the UK, Germany, and France, and during 2021 new offices opened in Turkey and APAC.
