Cycling to help cure cancer

Please note this article was published before OEE Consulting and gobeyond joined forces to become Gobeyond Partners.
We are donating £10,000 to Le Cure de France 2018 charity bike ride, whilst two of our consultants will be taking part to raise further funds for cancer research.
The ride tackles some of the most iconic and challenging mountain climbs of the Tour de France. Over four days the route covers 381km whilst climbing 12,000m in the mountains around Annecy and Grenoble.
Le Cure was first run in 2014 and has since raised over £1 million and created four Le Cure research fellowships through the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. In 2018 they aim to raise funds for vital research to make personalised treatments for breast cancer – and a cure for many people with the disease – a reality.
“Because we run the charity for free, every single penny donated by OEE Consulting will directly fund world-leading, cutting-edge research, so that those diagnosed with breast cancer (currently around 1 in 8 women in the UK) will have more effective, and more personalised, treatment options in the future. We, and the research fellows that we fund at the Royal Marsden Hospital, such as Dr Marianna Leal, cannot thank you enough.”

Our consultants Richard Davies and Annie Glover have both signed up to tackle this gruelling cycling challenge.
“Not all challenges end in victory or success but it is an opportunity to get into the ‘arena’ again.”
