The Future of Service conference 2017

Please note this article was published before OEE Consulting and gobeyond joined forces to become Gobeyond Partners.
We welcomed 200 delegates from 80 organisations to this year’s Future of Service conference, as we asked ‘is your business thinking radically enough?’
The conference speakers and option streams provided different perspectives on how we might all better deliver change and innovation.
Matthew Syed spoke about the importance of a growth mindset, warning that unless we test and learn from failure we cannot improve. Delegates had a chance to put this into action by challenging the former international champion to a table tennis match.
We heard insights from speakers from Discovery Networks, Atos, Starcount and Agility in Mind. Topics included building a customer-centred culture in times of change, and why data-driven businesses perform better. Read the full agenda.
Coming to this conference always reenergises me and reminds me of how much more is achievable.

Watch the day’s highlights in three minutes:
We set the conference theme following our work with clients to help them think more radically about some of their most significant challenges: creating effortless customer journeys, redesigning whole organisations, integrating new technology, and even developing entirely new propositions. We think organisations often underestimate the effort needed to change – where radical thinking is needed to drive transformational change.
