Over ten years’ experience in the management consulting sector working in Europe, Asia and the USA. He spent the majority of his career as an operations leader, running large and complex departments

As the MD for Learning & Development at Gobeyond Partners, he is responsible for helping his clients develop the in-house capability to solve their business problems, sustain improvement and evolve their culture. Mark gains a great deal of satisfaction from imparting skills and knowledge to others.

Consulting experience

Operational excellence

Responsible for the delivery of an operational excellence training and coaching programme for one of the world’s largest insurance brokers. Roll-out produced immediate benefits – delivery was across 4 continents and in multiple languages.

Key account management

Previously, a Key Account Director for our largest banking client, delivering global ops transformation, aligning operations to current business needs and futureproofing to align with the long-term strategy.

Transformation

Delivered a major transformational change programme for the world’s largest telecoms infrastructure supplier. This included corporate culture change and personally training over 3000 managers.

Management experience

Royal Air Force

Search & Rescue Force: Change Manager responsible for the improvement of aircraft maintenance and commercial development of the site.

Defence Aircraft Repair Agency

Production Manager for the VC10 aircraft maintenance facility. Overall responsibility for 395 staff and the infrastructure required to deliver in-depth maintenance of multi-engine aircraft. Challenging targets were beaten and, in two years, a fourfold improvement in performance was delivered.

Defence Logistics Organisation

Management Information Systems manager responsible for projects bringing legacy MI systems together into a data warehouse.
