Consulting experience

Transformation

Designed and led a large, multisite transformation programme for a leading UK & overseas pension administrator. Activities ranged from TOM analysis, design & implementation to hands on tactical team level support.

Operating model

Led a Claims operational transformation project between the UK and India within a global insurance organisation. Developing and implementing the E2E operating model including process redesign, workforce relocation and operations management best practice implementation.

Operational excellence

Interim Head of Operations Excellence for the GB division of a large insurance broker. This involved the design and execution of opportunity assessments and improvement projects forming part of a global transformation programme.

Process improvement

For a leading UK retail bank Russ led a series of high profile improvement projects in a high volume payments operation. Outcomes included reduction in lead times and errors enabling the operation to meet FCA agreed SLAs.

Performance recovery

Diagnostic, rapid mobilisation and execution of business critical performance recovery intervention in major UK commercial bank anti-money laundering function.

Operations design

Using customer journey mapping and stakeholder engagement with the FOS the E2E operation was re-designed to meet the needs of its stakeholders and new volume expectations.
